Prairie and Valley Road Trip
We leave Regina via Dewdney Ave and head west to connect with a north bound grid road. Shortly after turning north there is a bridge over Wascana creek that makes for some nice photos.
Then we will move a little bit west to take some shots on the road near Sherwood Forest, the creek is really nice in here and an old bridge offers some cool looks as well.
More gravel roads will take us past Wascana Trails, no time for a hike but lots of great shots of the valley from the parking area. From here we follow the valley to the Seven Bridges Road and into Lumsden where we can take some time to explore the streets, park and old buildings in town. A quick drive to Craven for some photos and then to the old campground area at Valeport. Some nice woods and water pictures here along with an awesome railway trestle. If we are lucky there will be a train running past when we are there.
We back track slightly from here and head thru Craven to a dirt road and head in the direction of a really cute church in the valley stopping as we go for photos.
Grid roads and some more impromptu stops for pictures we will make our way to highway 6 and head back to Regina.
